the begining

It is no secret that we are a bit confused right now, not just politically, economically, but individually as well. Usually, in this great country of ours, we don't have to think much about the abstract future of things. Usually, when we reach a "crossroads" as a society, we don't really realize it as much. I am willing to bet that most people would say, we don't live in "usually". I suppose if you are reading this, you may want a reason as to why I am writing. Well, it may sound odd, but I figured it is the best way to figure out exactly what I believe about things around me. Sometimes, I find myself changing my stance on common political issues, or simply the way I view the world around me. So, I am going to start writing...everything I think is important about the world, our lives, and where we're going. That way I will always be able to trace back my thought process, and hopefully really find out who I am, and what I think.
